ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROGRAMMES 2023-24

Shastri Institute is pleased to announce its programme for the years 2023-24 in a hybrid model. Based on the Institute’s COVID-19 policy, proposals can be submitted. Programmes seeking applications are as follows.

Agriculture

Agriculture cooperation is front and centre of India-Canada bilateral relations and to achieve goals that are of strategic importance for both countries. With a vibrant trading relationship in agriculture and agri-food research and development partnerships are capable of catering to the contextual needs of India and Canada’s agriculture sector leading to product development, innovation and solution creation.

Health Care -One health and Public Health

One Health is defined by WHO as “an approach to designing and implementing programmes, policies, legislation and research in which multiple sectors communicate and work together to achieve better public health outcomes”. One Health consists of human health, animal health, and the environment. It is a collaborative, multisectoral, and transdisciplinary strategy to promote research partnerships and knowledge exchange at various levels.

SHASTRI MAPPING & MATCHING INTEREST WORKSHOP(SMMIW)

Shastri Mapping and Matching Bi-national Interest Workshop, proposes to conduct partnership development meetings in the areas of mutual interest to Indian and Canadian researchers. The aim of the proposed workshops is to provide a learning mechanism that will help researchers from both countries to come together and provide a framework of developments and trends on mutual themes of interest, share their research findings and explore joint collaborations and partnerships.

Lecture Series on "Necessity and Challenges towards Clean Energy Production for a Sustainable Environment"

Department of Chemical Engineering, Pandit Deendayal Energy University is organizing a lecture series on “Necessity and Challenges towards Clean Energy Production for a Sustainable Environment, on March 20-21, 2023.  Funded by Shastri Conference and Lecture Series Grant (SCLSG) 2022-23. 

Registration Details: The lecture series will be held on online platform. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for the lecture series. E-certificate will be provided to all the attendees. Attendance for 80% sessions is compulsory to get an e-certificate.
