The second thematic cluster on ‘One Health’ and the Series of Shastri Mapping and Matching Bi-National Interest Workshop was launched on March 2, 2023 in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD). This SICI led bi-national ‘One Health Cluster’ aims to strengthen the collaboration between Indian and Canadian researchers, academics, and major stakeholders i.e. central and federal governments; state and provincial governments along with agencies and institutions engaged in the domain of One Health.

The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute invites agriculture students and researcher scholars to submit papers for the Best Paper Award in One Health. The research must contribute to a theory that has pragmatic relevance. The paper should fall within the One Health regime. Field/case studies, empirical methods, and analytical modelling are encouraged. Papers will be reviewed by a panel of experts in the relevant field.

Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute is pleased to announce a call for applications for Shastri Mobility Programme for Curriculum Development in One Health.  This programme will play a crucial role in strengthening and homogenizing ‘One Health’ programmes and activities. Additionally, it will help in enriching faculty profiles and will lead to greater collaborations between the two nations.

Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI) is pleased to invite proposals from faculty members, scientists, and professionals to organize a conference on One Health.  One Health is an approach to designing and implementing programmes, policies, legislation, and research in which multiple sectors work together to achieve better public health outcomes.
