University Presidents and Vice-Chancellors from SICI’s 147 member institutions are gathering for a two-day Summit, which is aimed at providing key opportunities to create institutional linkages. The Summit seeks to contribute in a unique and timely way to advancing SICI’s continuing mission of connecting universities in Canada and India. The Summit seeks to contribute actively towards SICI’s bi-national educational mandate through further developing collaboration in higher education in furtherance of the work accomplished at the meetings of 2011, 2013, and earlier this year. The Summit is funded by the Government of India, through MHRD, and is also in recognition of the recent Golden Jubilee of the Shastri Institute.
