Sad demise of Shastri Fellow, Dr. Asha Pande  - University of Rajasthan

Shastri Institute extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Prof. Asha Pande, a Shastri Fellow who recently passed away.  

Dr. Asha Pande was a professor and the first Indian woman to receive the Légion d'honneur . She was the founder-director of Rajasthan University's Master in European Studies programme and heads the Department of Dramatics at Rajasthan University, and Center for French and Francophone Studies. She has been honored for promoting French language in India.

Shastri Applied Research Project (SHARP)

The Shastri Applied Research Project ran from 2002-2006 and supported 19 three-year collaborative research initiatives. SHARP was funded by CIDA and contributed to poverty reduction and sustainable development in India through bi-national policy research. All projects had an impact beyond the academic community.

Prof. Gopal Achari , Center for Environmental Engineering Research and Education (CEERE) ,Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary is arriving in India to teach a course at MNNIT Allahabad in November 2018 from 19 November to 23 November under the GIAN Programme.
