The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) and University of Sasktachwean are hosting a Winter Institute in Digital Humanities, from 8 December 2019 to 22 December 2019 at the IIT Gandhinagar campus. The winter institute is an international event, being planned under the aegis of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute's Programme Development Grant (SPDG) and MHRD's support.

The Institute has its offices in Calgary, Canada and Delhi, India. The teams of dedicated professionals in both offices work diligently and efficiently towards successfully delivering the bi-national mission and mandate of the Institute. In Canada office the entire operation is being managed by Canadian staffers under supervision of the President or Vice President (as the case may be) of the Institute based in Canada . In India office, the administrative work is looked after by the Director of India-Office, who is also an ex-officio member of the Executive Council.
