Shastri Institute and Bureau du Québec à Mumbai are proud to host an International Conference on Quebec Studies which will be held at SICI premises from 6th to 8th February in New Delhi. The conference is an interdisciplinary event bringing scholars from Austria, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, France, India, and Italy, to debate on the extreme contemporary in literature and culture of Quebec. The highlight of the conference is the presence of Canadian writer Ying Chen who will be in conversation at the Alliance Française de Delhi on 7th February.

We regret to inform that the book launch event for Dr. Meenal Shrivastava previously scheduled to be held on Wednesday, December 18th at IIC, New Delhi stands cancelled. It was determined that the recent spate of events and a low attendance thereof, it was not appropriate to hold the event where a vast majority of attendees would have been scholars, faculty and students from the constituent colleges of our member universities.

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) and University of Saskatchewan are hosting a Winter Institute in Digital Humanities, from 8 December 2019 to 22 December 2019 at the IIT Gandhinagar campus. The winter institute is an international event, being planned under the aegis of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute's Programme Development Grant (SPDG) and MHRD's support.
