Building Bridges: University of Windsor and Adamas University Establish New Partnership
The University of Windsor has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Adamas University, Kolkata, India, marking a significant step in strengthening academic cooperation and global engagement.
The agreement, signed by University of Windsor President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Robert Gordon and Adamas University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Suranjan Das, establishes a five-year framework for collaboration between the two institutions.
The partnership opens doors for a wide range of academic initiatives, including joint degree and transnational education programs, student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research, and the sharing of best practices in teaching and curriculum development. The agreement also highlights opportunities to establish academic progression pathways and articulation agreements, thereby supporting greater student mobility and enhanced credential recognition across borders.
Dr. Chris Busch, Associate Vice-President, Enrolment Management and Senior International Officer at the University of Windsor, emphasized the significance of the collaboration:
“This agreement reflects our shared commitment to building global opportunities for students, scholars, and researchers. By working together, we can create pathways that enrich academic experiences and foster innovation.”
